Better Environment Through Food Recycle Science

eCorect: Revolutionary High-Speed Biomass Conversion Technology

Composting is a traditional natural method for using  microorganisms to decay organic, compostable waste by mixing it with air, soil, and water in a compost bin to break down the organic material. During the composting process, microorganisms from the soil eat the organic waste and break it down through aerobic respiration info its simplest parts. Through the respiration process, the microorganisms generate carbon dioxide and heat so that the temperature of the compost pile could rise as high as 100~150 degree Fahrenheit. The end product can benefit the environment as humus rich soil amendments or as natural fertilizer for gardening or farming.

The entire decomposition process could take several weeks: it could be reduced to 2~3 weeks if the process is actively managed by turning or watering the compost bin on a regular basis. For the most efficient decomposition, the waste needs to be turned daily or every other day and fed enough air and water to break the bigger waste pieces since smaller particles break down more rapidly.

In particular, composting meat or dairy products generate unpleasant foul odors due to the decomposition of the fat. It is often recommended to treat those meat wastes through a blender or chopper to reduce the size and to speed up the decomposition process. Seeding composting piles with earthworms (worm composting) could reduce the decomposition process by as much as 50 percent.

eCorect is high speed, patent-pending organic bio-waste conversion technologies that convert food waste, food scraps and other organic bio-wastes into reusable highly concentrated organic particles. The system rapidly converts organic food waste into small organic particulates, typically reducing the weight up to 90%.  eCorect is the registered trademark and multiple US patents have been filed regarding eCorect process.

This revolutionary technology creates ecologically recyclable byproducts, that can be used as environmental friendly organic soil amendments, renewable energy feedstock and organic fillers. The system is easy to install and designed to work as a stand-alone unit indoor or outdoor without requiring any piping or ventilation or water drains. No enzymes, microorganisms or additives are used in the treatment process.

The system incorporates smart heat and energy recycle technology that closely monitors and provides feedback of the process using an innovative multi-phase heat and air re-circulation design that maximizes the energy efficiency. All eCorect systems include a unique odor control system that allows placement of the system next your workplace free from unpleasant odors.
